March Madness

Spring Break was WONDERFUL! Not gonna lie - this week has been a tough one getting back in our routine.

March means a super busy Spring season of soccer, baseball, dance recitals, STAAR testing aaaaaand hopefully some better/warmer weather, too.

Luka has moved up to the coach pitch with his team and they just had their first two games this week. They were 7:45 games and I have to say we are paying for it a little this week. These 1.5 hour games will kill me. We are all dragging to say the least.  The boys did really well.

The new uniforms look great on the boys! Luka loves his new bat and shoes, too. Cannot believe our kid is wearing size 1 shoes!

Little Miss is dancing away. She got her costume today and was very excited to try it on. We are so, SO excited about her recital in May.

Nik and Brooke came home for Spring Break. We love when they come and visit. We hung out on Sunday and had a great time.

Last Thursday and Friday we had Alix and Braxton over for a sleepover. The kids played and played and played. We made a few trips to the park.

March also means we are getting closer to our summer break...only 54 more school days. :) We are getting closer to our beach vacation...closer to end of kinder for one and end of pre-school for another kiddo. Exciting times! Dear Summer, we are ready for you!

Spring Break 2014 Fun

We have enjoyed this week so, so much. Friday and Saturday nights the kiddo kicked off the Spring Break by spending the night with each set of grandparents while Mommy and Daddy enjoyed two date nights in a row :) This week has been awesome! We relaxed, played, relaxed and played. Just what we needed after a busy first part of the spring semester and an even busier second half coming up.

Monday we spent playing and having fun around the house. The kids were getting along so well. :) On Tuesday we had two kindergarten friends over and their sisters. The kids had a great time.

Tuesday night after batting practice with the Bandits we had a fun time hanging out with cousins and having them over for a sleepover. On Wednesday we got to use the awesome kites Mimi and Papa gave us and I was certain that we would lose a kid given the fact the wind was CRAZY!!!

Wednesday night I had a great time catching up with my old team from Lister. We laughed and laughed until everyone from our section in the restaurant left.

Today we headed to the Arboretum to check out the new children's area. Mrs. Zercher ( Luka's teacher) and the cousins came along. The new area was AH-MAZING!!!! We had so much fun.

Tonight we have another sleepover. This time with Braxton and Alix. Pictures to come :)
