Time Out Support

So I have been bragging about Luka and Mia getting along so well for the past several days...Unfortunatley I can't say the same about today but I am excited to share that when one of them is being a little turkey the other one is usually pretty lovey dovey and forgiving...This morning Luka decided to wake up around 5:30 am...I was so excited he was up bright and early.  Needless to say by the time sissy woke up he was not in the greatest mood. He popped her on the head when she took one of his toys away. Of course, he went to have a little time to himself in time out! He was pretty upset about going to time out...Mia got really upset even though he did not hit her that hard.....As soon as I walked away  from Luka to get Mia her sippy cup this is what happened ....

Mia waited for me to go into the kitchen to go see her Bubba (as she calls him)....I turned around and noticed her in his face being as sweet as she can be...
He still didn't really want anything to do with her even though she was being so stinkin' sweet....As you can tell he is trying to move her hand off his shoulder with his head....
Then he nicely told her to GO AWAY and tried to push her hand away...
Finally he had to give up as she refused to take his hints and laid her head in his lap...my battery died right after this....he finally noticed me taking pictures and smiled!

Oh goodness gracious can you say P-R-E-C-I-O-U-S!

Mia Nicole- you  are the sweetest baby sister ever! Luka loves you very much!

Snow Day Fun - Part 2

I have enjoyed the last two days SO much! I love being home with the kiddos ( especially when they are both in a great mood). They were getting along so well...they normally get along well but nothing like these past two days- I have never seen so much hugging in my life. As they grow up I can only hope that they remain as close as they have been so far. Luka loves to take care of Mia, hold her, kiss her, get things for her...Mia just adores her big brother...They shared things just fine, they played together without having me sit right next to them and they had some pretty funny conversations between the two of them today. We played inside, we destroyed every room in the house, we read, we played sports, we played in the snow, we watched Barney...WHAT A PERFECT DAY! The one thing that would have made it even more perfect would have been Daddy being able to stay home with us.

Here are some more adorable pictures of our fun day.

This is how she greeted him this morning when he woke up
Okay sissy, that's enough now- she would NOT let go
Watching snow together- just melts my heart that he has his arm around her
This is Mia's "WHAT do you mean I don't get what I want" face
Here is her "I am mad at you and I will NOT forgive you" face...
And here is that angel face that has us wrapped around her little finger
Sweet girl playing with cars
Such a happy little guy!
Playing together without making a peep
30 minutes later - still playing and getting along
More HUGS!
Mia made Luka some lunch in her play kitchen
Watching snow together- do you see her ponytail???
She wasn't able to walk through all the snow without falling
Our house
We wanted to remember what our street looks like with all the snow
HAPPINESS!!!
Here we go again with random hugs
He has been such a smiling little guy
Excited about the snow!
Cold and tired...
This picture was taken as soon as Mia got up from her nap. Luka was in his high chair and immediatley wanted to hold her. I placed her carefully on his tray thinking it would be a quick hug- BUT NO- he wanted to love on her for a while...She was enjoying the love...
As uncomfortable as it is to lay on the high chair tray- Mia did not mind it all...
Did I mention they love to hug?
Tickle-tickle
I wish she was this happy after every nap...Lol!
WHAT- we get to go outside AGAIN?

Snow Day Fun

Our little snow bunnies!

I was looking at the blog few days ago and relaized that I did not post pictures in over a month. I was determined to take some today since I was staying home from school with the babies. We had the best day together. What a special day!

We started out nice and slow...
Luka kept telling Mr. Snowman to say "cheese" and that is why he is not looking at the camera...
Mia was not sure what to think about all the snow...
We practiced throwing snowballs...he was very focused!
We had to get some milk for Mr. Snowman
Taking turns getting a ride.
Giving Mr. Snowman HIGH FIVE!

Taking a short break from being outside
Luka mastered throwing snowballs by the time Daddy made it home.
My love!
Luka's "mean" face! Watch out!

Mia's "mean" face!
Licking snow again!

All over the place...he would NOT stop chunking snowballs at us!
Taking another short break...they played together for a while without making a peep!
Playing with Momma's bellybutton- he keeps asking both Justin and I what is wrong with our bellybuttons... Mine looks a "little funny" from pregnancies and Justin's from his surgeries! Luka thinks it is hilarious stuff!
Admiring the snow flakes
Kisses for Dada!
She DOES NOT like taking pictures these days!
Luka licking the snowman...he kept saying "Momma snowman is yummy ice"
Taking a break from all the snow fun...they played for a while together without making a peep!
Mia started missing the snow so she hung out by the window for a while
They have their moments of sweetness!
HUGS for big brother!
They were tired of getting pictures taken all day so as soon as I pulled out my camera they decided to face away from it.
Needless to say Momma was really, really wet!
They are such little partners in crime...always doing stuff together!
Sweetheart!
