This summer is going by so, very, unbelievably fast! We have had so much fun - a nice mix of down time at home and fun with family and friends. Cannot believe we are a month away from Meet the Teacher night.

Sara and Scott's wedding was so beautiful! :) This was their first wedding to attend and they loved it!

Kids had their own table at the reception and did great.

Monday morning snuggles with my loves. We read books and snuggled in our master bedroom.

 

After a trip to the gym, we ate lunch at the park and played before heading to the library and back home for swimming.

 

 Tuesday morning in my bed. These two are quite the buds. :)

 

 

Lake Fun

This past weekend the Howells invited us to join them at the lake house. We left Thursday evening and stayed through Saturday. We had a lot of fun :) There was board game playing, fishing, paddle boat rides, swimming, eating lots of food, lots of playing outside...it was a great weekend with friends!

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Home Makeover

So I have been painting away...even though I promised my husband it would be a looong time before I decided to start "working" on that. Luckily for me he loves me and just goes with my crazy ADHD plans.

Here are a few before and after pictures.

Master bedroom...was white with a mustard color accent bay window wall....now greyish color which we both LOVE! I got a great idea for the curtains from a friend today and I can't wait for my Momma to come back to the States and start sewing.:)

Luka's Room- he wanted gold and red room...uhmm....I said NO...but apparently he will get his gold and red room because I am debating doing an accent red wall on the window wall...still deciding.

 

 

Playroom - from white to light yellow/ creamy/khaki...also from all grown up room to a major toy storage...lol....can barely tell the new color in the new picture but we really like it.

Hangin' at Home

This week we have pretty much stayed around the house for the most part. We went swimming a few times, played golf in the evenings, hung out with the cousins, we cleaned and organized ( even though by the end of the day it doesn't look like it), we painted, ahd a family day at the water park, picked up Braums a few times, put up a few more things around the house and started working/adding to our future workout room.

The playroom was painted...you can barely see it in the picture but it went from white to light yellow/beige...I love the way it turned out! The kiddos' TV was put/set up this weekend as well. YAY!

Miss Mia's room went from boring white to pretty princess pink. :) We are very happy how it turned out. Very Mia! :)  I am looking for a Bible verse peel on to place on the slanted part of her ceiling.

 

So far everything in the room (except the curtains) was in her room at the old house. I need to add a few more colorful things on this side of the room. Probably a large, colorful canvas above her vanity area.

 

Luka's room has also been painted but I will wait for the curtains to go up before posting.

 We have also been in the season of "sleepovers". :) Jameson from tball came to hang out and spend the night a few weeks ago.
