San Francisco - Part 2

Even though I was missing my hubby and babies like crazy, I really had a great time on this trip. It really helped that we were leaving on our Destin vacation less then 24 hours after I got home. I had a lot of anxiety about being away at first but my husband did an amazing job helping me realize that every Momma needs some time away and that I needed to enjoy this trip.

My favorite things about the trip:

Okay, okay it was nice to see Nevena and Forrest, too ;)
Our sweet hosts!

GOOD BYE, San Fran! Until next time!

I had the best time on this trip with my sweet Momma who never gets to do anything for herself. She always puts others first and has a very hard time just sitting down and relaxing. I am so excited that she had some time to relax.

To Nevena, Forrest & Katelyn - we had THE BEST time on this trip! Thank you for welcoming us with open arms and making our stay beyond wonderful. We love you so much and can't for you to move back to TX.

To my amazing husband - THANK YOU so much for allowing me time to get away and enjoy this trip. I know the babies had a great time with their sweet Daddy and I know you held down the forth better then I would. Thank you for all the text pictures, sweet video, the sweetest welcome home signs, for making sure I knew you were all okay and to enjoy my time away. You are an amazing man and I thank God every day for blessing me and our precious babies with you. I love you and all you do for our family. You truly are one of a kind!

To Mimi and Keka - thank you guys for helping with the babies while Justin had to work. They had a great time! :)

San Francisco - Part 1

It just occurred to me that I posted NO pictures of my trip to San Francisco! Glad I finally saw this post sitting in my drafts because it easily could have been next year before I figured this out. I am turning into such a forgetul person which is exactly why I love this blog so much!

My mom and I headed out to San Fran for our very first girls trip. We leftor the airport around 6 on Tuesday evening and made it back to DFW on Friday at midnight. What a great time we had!!! We laughed and laughed and laughed! While we waited to board the plane at one point I had to get up and walk away because my mom was making me laugh so hard my make up was running down my face and people were starting to give us strange looks. Love my Momma!

My sweet cousin Nevena who is more like a sister to me lives in San Fran with her husband and brand new baby girl. Katelyn was born at the end of June and this was our first time to meet her. OH.MY.GOODNESS - what a beautiful and precious baby she is! Just wait and see.

We enjoyed our three full days of wonderful company, amazing scenery, fabulous food and lots of relaxing. Nevena and Forrest made our trip more wonderful then we could have imagined. From homemade breakfast every morning to not letting us lift a finger the entire time we were in town. Thank you, guys! We can't say enough what a great time we had!

Here is the MOST beautiful and precious part of San Francisco right here:

WHAT A DOLL!!!

Loved snuggling, holding and loving on this sweet baby girl. She is such an easy, laid back and smiling little thing. It was heard to not try and sneak her into our bags when we were getting ready to leave.

San Francisco is literally one of the most beautiful cities I have ever been to. There is so much to see and if you are an active person this is the perfect place. Walking and biking trails all over the place.

I was just in awe of this BEAUTIFUL city! Everything is so clean and well kept, the surroundings are just gorgeous everywhere you turn!

This took some work but so glad we did it! Right, Nevena?

 Alcatraz

This is Nevena and Forrest's balcony view! AMAZING! They are on the fourth floor and have two balconies with these views. They actually live in Walnut Creek, just outside of San Fran. It is one of the most beautiful communities and I would move there in a heartbeat! Everything is in walking distance..farmer's market, BART, beautiful trails and parks, restaurants and stores. Perfection!!!

I can't wait to go again with my three little loves. Heck, we might just stay!!!

Stonebridge Ranch Adventures

We spent a wonderful family day outdoors. We packed our bikes up, had lunch together in Frisco and then went for a nice family bike ride in McKinney's beautiful Stonebridge Ranch. They have such awesome trails and so many cute little parks around. This was our first time with all four of us riding our own bikes and IT WAS SO MUCH FUN! There was no whinning and the kids actually did pretty awesome on their little bikes with training wheels. We stopped by two different parks for some playtime and rest.
