Family of five???

Oh NO NO NO NO - all you knuckleheads - we are not expecting again! We learned that lesson last time....Tonight we had the pleasure of keeping Miss Sydney Leigh (who is three months younger than Mia) with us for the evening. It was a great glimpse of what life would be like with three babies BUT as cute and adorable and sweet as our little visitor was...I say NO THANKS- two is perfect....at least for now ( just teasing hon...sorry for raising your blood pressure again!)! I am not gonna lie it made me miss when our kids were calm and not as mobile...OH WAIT A MINUTE...that was never the case in our family!

Here are some adorable pictures of the kiddos. Luka was just so lovey dovey with Sydney. He really didn't know how to act around a baby girl that was not constantly punching, biting, pushing, taking his toys and stealing his food...He constantly had his arm around her and was very protective.Anytime Mia would come up to Sydney he said NO NO NO NO.
So amazed at those tiny little feet...
Luka was in Sydney's face for the first 45 minutes...
I have about 30 more picture with his arm gently around her...I am sure this is one of his "Don't worry Sydney - I am gonna protect you when that chunky-monkey sister of mine comes around!"
SYDNEY: " Girl, you do have a large melon!"
MIA: " You do too...all that hair doesn't fool me!"
Mia about to give baby Syd kisses

Sydney definitely knows what a football looks like since her parents are some serious college football fanatics- but she was not sure about the basketball....
Justin and Sydney- look at that hair...We know, she needs to let Mia have some!
I took the three kiddos for a walk...not too bad I must admit...I did get a lot of weird looks from the neighbors as I pushed the stroller with the girls in it and pulled Luka in the wagon...when we just had Luka and I was pregnant with Mia - I got the "Oh that poor girl" looks all the time....with Luka and Mia together I usually get the " Awwww...how sweet but a lot of work" look....tonight I am pretty sure it was the " Those crazy people - do they know what causes this?" look...on top of that I am sure they were wondering "Hmmmm...one bald very, very white baby...and one crazy hair much darker baby?"...then of course there is the Croatian looking kid in the wagon.... I love hearing that Luka looks " so Croatian"- all due to his large noggin...

During our walk we met a super sweet family in our neighborhood with 16 month old twin girls and two HUGE Great Danes. Hopefully we'll get to enjoy some more walks with them soon...and of course we are looking forward to our many walks with sweet Jade down the street who is only a few weeks older than Mia.
Luka taking care of Sydney after our walk...

The girls went down easy...Luka shared his crib and let Sydney sleep in it while Mia was worn out from all the excitment in her crib. Thanks sweet Sydney for a fun evening!

Precious Family Time

This weekend has been one of those our little family has been waiting for a while. After a few very rough months Daddy is starting to feel better and we are so thankful for every little improvement with his health this week. Such a HUGE praise!

We were able to enjoy doing normal family stuff: go to Kids Kingdom, visit the neighborhood playground, a few good naps, play with the kiddos, have some chalk fun outside, go for walks, spend time with both sides of the family, go back to church for the first time in a while, have some mommy/son and father/daughter time and even have a date night.

Justin and I have not had a date night in a while so we went out to dinner, drove around for a little while and talked, took a walk at the Harbor and saw a movie. We had soooo much fun (but unfortunately no pictures to document it.) I do have to document in writing that this old married couple stayed out until midnight...WOOOHOOO!!!

In my opinion - this entire weekend was perfect!

Father/daughter time...
On the way to the playground Luka carried his new little hand held game from Aunt Apple - doesn't he look like a big boy?
Mia is C-R-A-Z-Y about the slide on the playground!
Playing together with the rocks
He refused to look at the camera for some reason
Such a big helper!
BEST BUDS!
PERFECT = Daddy feeling good and smiling!
I just love this...
The only smiley picture in her church outfit
Little Miss decided to do one of her famous "rolling on the ground" tantrums
Oh what would a perfect weekend be without at least a few of these "Mia tantrums"....
Enjoying a quick snooze with Uncle Tono while Mommy and Daddy were getting ready for their date night.
SOOOOO sweet!
Sweet moment with Deda
Chillin' in brother's chair...
Yo Gabba Gabba - focused!
That smiley look tells us she is up to something!
"Okay peeps I am ready to go? Who's pushing me this time?"
"This way Dada!" If we leave the house and try to go in the direction AWAY from the playground, Luka now calls us out, points his finger and leads the way
Playing with his new trucks
Luka's new favorite game: cover Daddy's feet with rocks and then search for them
If you could only hear the laugh/giggles that goes with the excitement of going down the slide - such a happy camper!PERFECT = family time
He is turning into such a serious little guy - always observing...this time he really wanted his friend Dylan's motorcycle...
My precious boys - leaving the playground without tears...we have come a long way with Luka Bear!
Sweet boy who is becoming very difficult when it comes to getting his picture taken.
Being lovey dovey before bedtime.
Very sleepy Mia with her Daddy

NOW if I could just get a phone call that I won the lottery and don't have to work anymore....that would be AWESOME! Just sayin'!

Our New Address: 1000 Kids Kingdom

The weather has been gorgeous this week so we are officially spending as much time as we can at Rowlett's Kids Kingdom. If you can't reach/find us that would probably be the place to look. More specifically you will find us near the swings :) Enjoy the pictures from the past two days.

Sweet boy
Loving the swing! She says NO NO NO when you try to get her out
Such a big boy
Is Mia's face not precious? She adores her big brother!
Love those little jeans
Pretty sure something is going on in the diaper right here...
" I am freeeeeeeee"
The kids might be obsessed with the swings
Doing pull ups
Our pretty little girl was covered in dirt by the end of the playdate
Chasing each other - hilarious to watch!

Luka giving sissy a push...what a sweetheart!

Few minutes later sissy did another form of pushing...poor Luka!
Daddy and baby girl having some sweet moments
Mia was not happy I stopped the swing to take a picture
The boys swinging
Luka is always so excited to play with Dada
