Special Visitors

A few weekends ago we kept our neighbors' two boys while they were out of town for a wedding. Here are some precious pictures of our busy 4 days together with 4 kids 6 and under. The kiddos got along great. Mornings were a little crazy as everyone had a different school to be dropped off but we survived and had a lot of fun.

Luka and I at school right before the Veterans Day program. :)

Daddy and Luka at school during Justin's Watch D.O.G day. He was on our campus from arrival to dismissal and we loved every minute of it. It was so fun to have him at school with us all day. He read books to some of my classes, helped out in several other classrooms, did perimeter checks, had lunch with Luka, played recess games with my classes, helped out during crosswalk duty after school and got to see a lot of what happens on our campus every day. He stayed busy and loved it! My kiddos LOVED him!

Hello Beautiful Weather :)

We took advantage of the gorgeous weather and took the 4wheelers for a few rides this week.

Tyler State Park

We enjoyed a beautiful camping weekend with Mimi and Papa at Tyler State Park. We left Friday after school and made it home Sunday afternoon. It was so nice to get away  and enjoy the nice weather outdoors. The kiddos had a blast fishing, playing, teaming up with Mommy and Daddy for some serious hide and seek around our camp area. Thanks Mimi and Papa for such a wonderful weekend!

November Happenings

November has gone by so fast! I feel like the month just started and here we are about to head on our Thanksgiving Break. A much needed Thanksgiving Break! On Friday, hubby and I headed to my folk's house to celebrate my big birthday 3-0 {big sigh}. Afterwards we got to enjoy a date night while the kiddos had a blast spending time with cousins.

The next day we hosted Friendsgiving with our college group of friends and had a great day. The kiddos played hard, Daddies watched football while Mommy's chatted.

Today we headed to Justin's folks house to celebrate my birthday and we also decided to bring out our Christmas décor. I know, I know - Thanksgiving isn't even here yet...Mia has sooo much fun! She loves this time of year and she was sure to tell us approximately every 5 seconds. The tree isn't completely done but we are thrilled to have it up and start this holiday season. :)

Ollie the Owl is visiting us this week and Luka is so excited. :)

East Texas & Random Stuff

The day before Halloween we decided to paint and carve our many pumpkins we collected on the front porch.

Tooth Fairy came twice in 2 days :)

We celebrated Ivan's birthday :)

We went trick or treating with Spidey and Belle :)

Deda, Mimi and Papa joined us. :)

We enjoyed a pajama day at school.

We headed to East Texas to visit our sweet Grandma. :)

This has GOT to be one of my favorite places ever! Always relaxing:)

We started a new incentive plan with the kiddos for good behavior and so far it is going well. They earn "fuzzies" for different things.

Sweet girl and her Daddy!

This was Wednesday before school. He asked to go by the donut shop since I was heading out of town for a conference that afternoon and I couldn't say no to this precious face.
