Sneak Peak

I think this face says it all...This is Mia when we made it to the lake...Luka kept saying "Oh my gosh!" for the first five minutes while we checked everything out...

We had an A-M-A-Z--I-N-G Memorial Day weekend at one of the most beautiful and gorgeous places we had EVER seen...From water fountains to waterfalls to golf cart and boat rides to swings to the swimming pool fun to floating on the lake to amazing food - our kiddos didn't know what to do with themselves! Lots of pictures coming with a detailed recap of our first family trip to the lake...here is a sneak peak of our weekend paradise even though these pictures CANNOT do it justice....

Bruce and Cella- thank you so much for having us over this weekend! We love you both and cannot thank you enough for your hospitality!

Seven years ago to the day Bruce and Cella hosted our rehearsal dinner at their amazing Royse City home... It was so special to come back to their lake house for the first time with the kiddos...

Just the two of us...

Justin and I were able to enjoy a super fun day alone while our sweet mommas took care of the kiddos. We never just take the day off for ourselves but this was much needed, super relaxing and so much fun! We ended up getting up early, dropping the kids off as we headed to Byron Nelson for the day. The weather was very nice, we walked around the beautiful course, talked and just soaked in some kid-free alone time. We also enjoyed relaxing at the 15th hole's balcony Justin's company had reserved. Lunch was included and  it was just nice to sit outside and take in the gorgeous day!

Heading out for the day...they won't let you take in cell phones or cameras into the tournament so this was the only proof our wonderful day! No we did not plan to wear the same color outfits...:)

That evening we took the kids swimming at our neighborhood pool. They had a blast! We can already tell that we will be using the pool  A LOT this year. There is a pretty nice size baby pool that is separated from the other two pools. I also love the fact that it is never crowded! Kiddos had fun while Mommy and Daddy got a chance to be silly with some splashing and goofying around. The day was perfect! I did not take picturest his time but will next!

Lately...we have completely overloaded our camera :)

Lately...we have been in a better mood before heading out the door in the mornings....

Lately...we have enjoyed those precious snuggles before bedtime....

Lately.... we have been teaching others how to put their shoes on....

Lately...we have been practicing putting our shoes on with close supervision...

Lately....we have played a lot of baseball....

Lately...we have been obsessed with our golf clubs ( the real ones are in- the plastic ones are out)....

Lately...we have enjoyed spending time at Kids Kingdom and soaking up the wonderful weather...

Lately...we have enjoyed out favorite dessert at our favorite place...Lately...we have also not wanted to share our ice cream with Momma so we point fingers at another victim who might be crazy enough to share...

Lately...we have cherished every.single.bite of that special treat....

Lately...we have discovered a new place to read books in the playroom...who says bookshelves are only for books?

Lately...we have decided that every puppy/dog should be called Abbey...here are the three Abbeys Luka has been loving on lately...

Lately...Momma has walked in on us playing nicely with all the Abbeys...

Lately...we have been carefully following every second of Daddy's softball games...

Lately...we have also enjoyed hanging out with Papa

Lately..we have been leading by example....

Lately...we have been giving out sugars left and right...

Lately...we have behaved in the car...

Lately...we have enjoyed our first ride on a bus...

Lately...we have enjoyed a wonderful Mother's Day at the Arboretum...

Lately...we stopped to smell the flowers...

Lately...we have learned that the spoon is not necessary for eating applesauce...finger will do just fine...

Lately..we have been stealing Daddy's hat...

Lately...we have thrown a few tantrums in public...this one being in the middle of the Arboretum..."WHAT do you mean - I can't pick these flowers?"

Lately...we have been super duper cute ....

Lately...we have observed some strange things....

Lately..we have been the crazy wild child- you know the one that will try anything!

Lately.. we have been the child who sits back and just observes the crazy things our siblings do....

Lately...we have been very nosy as we love "people watching"....

Lately...we decided we do not need the stroller when Daddy is around....

Lately...we have been showing off our crazy sports skills...

Lately...we have been having fun with Momma and Dada while breaking the Arboretum rules and sneaking a few balls in to play...

Lately...we have found a few perfect picnic spots....

Lately...we have enjoyed dressing ourselves- 18 month old pajamas with an over sized purse with Daddy's hat AND let's not forget a red pair of very stylish Croatian house shoes that you can't see

Lately...we have been getting comfortable in our new time out spot ( portable chair in the laundry room)

Lately..we developed this awesome "going down the slide" face....

Lately...we have enjoyed pretty days at the neighborhood park....

Lately...we learned to go up the playground equipment by using the climbing net like those kids....

Lately...we have been very attached to Daddy ( Justin just got home from work and came to meet us at the park)

Lately...we have made bedtime for Daddy super easy while Momma was at Growth Group....

Lately...we have learned that when Momma asks you to wake up your brother from a nap- kissing him all over the face might work

If kisses don't work- then jump on the bed- that definitely WILL!
