I love this time of year because there is always so much to do. The weather is beautiful and we get to spend a lot of time with those we love. We have been having a lot fun with family and friends... On Friday morning we headed out to the Flower Mound Pumpkin Patch. We had a lot of fun hanging out with Mimi, Aunt Christy, Uncle Cary, Weston, Marg, Josh and Alyssa. The kids had a blast!
That night Mommy and Daddy got to get away for an adult evening with some of our friends form our Life Group. We had our first annual P,B &J party at the Watson's and had SUCH A GREAT TIME! Lots and lots of laughter!!! Thanks Tim and Stacey for organizing such a great get together! Here is Justin working on the design for our pumpkin. This was my first time to carve a pumpkin and as Justin claims "he only ever participated in carving" and was never in charge of it before...SO FUN!
Six couples, six pumpkins, one winner....You be the judge!;)
My sweet friends from GG- Cassi, Anna, Stacey, Jill & Kristen...we were missing Becky, Haley and Lindy!

The next morning Justin and I headed out to volunteer at my old school's Fall Carnival. Mimi and Papa were sweet enough to come spend some time and have fun with the kiddos for those four hours we were gone. We had fun at the carnival hanging out with my old team...I told Justin this was our second date night in 24 hours...
Some of my girls from last year came to visit.
The old gang- Karen, Jeff and I...Lisa was too busy falling down the stairs...thankfully she is okay but we sure missed her!
After the carnival we went home and relaxed for a little bit. We had our Life Group's Costume Party that evening and of course as much as we needed the kids to nap, they chose not to...This year's party was at the Burchfiel's beautful new house! Oh my goodness gracious- what a gorgeous home they have! We had a great time and all the kids definitley enjoyed their huge backyard and all of Nathan's toys. It was so cute to see all the kiddos in the costumes running around. Here is our Little Miss "I am not going to cooperate for pictures"!
My camera was messing up so I did not get many pictures but did manage to snap a few of these precious Superhero Friends- Brennan The Superman and Mia The Supergirl. As you can see they were way too busy with Nathan's toys to look up for a picture.
Our family shot
After the party we picked up Dea for a sleep over and headed home to support the Rangers. Here we are showing off our pumpkin after they won Game 3...Yes- we are all decked out in our Ranger shirts! Here is Mia and Luka's version of " the antlers"...are they not precious??? They of course have a few versions each...
Do you see that big smile on Daddy's face? How long has he been waiting for to share the joy and excitment of watching his favorite baseball team play...sharing the experience of Ranger's first World Series is just the icing on the cake!
Finally at 10:30 our little Ranger fans fell asleep... It has been a long weekend and we still have a day of trick-or-treating left ahead of us....
